Shreveport, LA asked in Child Custody and Family Law for Louisiana

Q: How to amend custody agreement: my husband went to court last April 2019 to get custody agreement with daughter.

My husband and his daughter mom has a custody agreement but the mom has never really followed the agreement. The agreement states that neither parent should question the child about the other parent. Since the agreement she has caused tension between him and his daughter. My step-daughter refuses to comply either. As she had us to start the custody because she didn’t want to be with her mom. my husband has not seen his daughter since last June. She will be 13 this year. He has called both the mom and daughter but no one answers. He has given up on contact with the other parent. Due to them not being able to communicate and her not cooperating. Can he amend the custody agreement? If so what is the best option and what should he place in the amendment?
