Q: An ex bought a dog and we split up over 3 years ago and she took the dog but sent the dog back do I have to give

We split up and she took the said dog with her but sent the dog back to me because the dog didn’t get along with anyone or other pets . 3 years now she wants the dog back what are my options? Thank you.

A: It kind of depends on what she said when she sent the dog back. If she was giving you the dog, then the dog is yours and you don’t have to give the dog back. If she sent it back asking you to watch the dog for a period of time, and you agreed, then you might have to give the dog back.
