A: That sounds like a terrible situation. But, as far as this post is concerned, you have not asked a question or provided enough information to get any useful response.

A: Who provided the broken harness? You may have a claim against the property owner.

A: This sounds like a tragic situation, I recently handled a very similar case. There are a few avenues to pursue in this type of matter but it would require far more information to make those determinations . I suggest setting a consultation with an experienced attorney.

A:
It sounds like you are reaching out on behalf of your friend or relative here. If you want to help this person, there are several pieces of information you could start gathering that would enable Florida attorneys to offer meaningful input and direction. If a workers' comp claim was filed, a brief summary of the workers' comp file would give prospective attorneys insight into what happened and details about these severe injuries. If there was no WC file, but a homeowner's or commercial building liability claim was denied, information about that would also be helpful. If you have information about the harness and its availability for inspection, which could be difficult with the passage of two years, that would also be helpful. If you have information on how to contact co-workers who were working alongside that day, that would be helpful. These are things that would be useful to prospective Florida counsel you reach out to. Good luck
