Q: Son turns 18 Feb 2021; will still be in H.S. What and when do I file to continue child support payments until graduation

A: You do not need to file to continue the child support. Neither the state nor child support enforcement is keeping track of birthdates.
A: For child support purposes, a child is not emancipated until they complete high school, so long as they are enrolled and working toward their diploma, but not past their 19th birthday. So, if your child turns 18 before the end of the 12th grade, then so long as they are still actively enrolled in high school, child support continues through the month that 12th grade is completed. No motion is necessary.
