If you have an insurance policy that covers collision damage even where you are at fault, that is one way, and you are probably already aware of that if you have such coverage. What this basically means (IF the jurisdiction follows such a rule) is that someone might still be able to recover damages limited by the extent of their fault - in other words, it could be a situation where both sides share the blame.
