Q: Is there any way I can get compensation on a wreck even though they say it was my fault

If you have an insurance policy that covers collision damage even where you are at fault, that is one way, and you are probably already aware of that if you have such coverage. The other way can depend on comparative liability doctrine followed in Georgia - that is something on which only a Georgia attorney is qualified to advise about. What this basically means (IF the jurisdiction follows such a rule) is that someone might still be able to recover damages limited by the extent of their fault - in other words, it could be a situation where both sides share the blame.
