Dunnville, KY asked in Animal / Dog Law for Kentucky

Q: neighbors dog got my dog pregnant, their dog was loose, my dog was on chain. what are my options?

my dog was in heat and the neighbors dog kept coming in our yard. we asked them to put their dog up because it was coming down and it was being aggressive to our dog. they did not do so, we put our dog in the house or remainder of heat but she must have gotten pregnant before. Now there are puppies coming and we are having to pay $300 to terminate and get her fixed, when we had plans to bred her. what are my options now on getting help with hospital bills?

A: Pay the $300 to terminate. You can sue them in small claims if you are inclined.
