A: That's not good. Your broker owed a duty to you to convey the offer. You did not ask a legal question, however. If you are wondering whether it makes senses to sue, that depends on a lot of things. For example, what are your quantifiable damages? Are you willing to pay an attorney to litigate the case? Would a judgment be collectible? Does your representation contract contain terms that would be important to understand before taking any action. I suggest that you hire a Missouri attorney to review your documents and give sound advice. A good next step might be to have the attorney write a demand letter to the broker. The broker might have insurance that would cover the situation.
