Kankakee, IL asked in Family Law for Illinois

Q: What are my options with my ex who is high conflict and not communicating care necessitates when our

children are dropped off? In our parental order we are to notify the other parent at transfer of medication or any other care requirements so the other house can assist with continuing such care. My ex sometimes will tell me if there are such requirements and other times I find out from the children later in the week, which means days were skipped. When I have sent a message to my ex regarding treatments, I never get a straight answer. I usually get something like "didn't so and so tell you" and "its not my fault our child doesn't talk to you" I'm tired of reminding my ex of our parental order and they just ignore it.

What are my options? I don't want to upset the judge by "complaining". My previous attorney who is no longer practicing has made it a point to show the court how my ex doesn't care about the rules in the past, is this a good defense? Is this type of behavior grounds for a change in parental responsibilities?
