Q: If I agree to my S-I-L adopting my kids, will I be able to see them without supervising since cps wont be involved?
Right now I'm only allowed supervised visits with my kids by someone approved by dcbs, which has been my sister in law. I'm just not financially stable at the moment so if i let my sister in law adopt my kids, and she doesn't mind, with cerain rules for me to spend time with my kids unsupervised, would dcbs have a say so? Or is that okay?
A: The court will probably not allow you to circumvent the system like that, especially if it is the same family court Judge in both cases.
