Hollywood, FL asked in Personal Injury for Florida

Q: Is it too late to involve an attorney for a fall/injury my wife had @ Fla outdoor mall in May 2019?

Just wondering if it’s too old she’s getting no cooperation with mgmt company anymore.

A: No. It is not to late. You have 4 years from the incident date, though the quicker you retain an attorney, the better.

A: I agree. Just wanted to add that the sooner you decide to proceed, the better the odds of evidence being preserved by the at fault parties. The sooner they are advised of your intention to pursue a claim, the higher your odds of success will be. Make sure to speak with an experienced injury attorney in Florida that can help ensure your rights are protected. Best of luck

A: You have 4 years to file but retain counsel here in Florida and file as soon as possible while witness memories are still fresh.

A: I agree that you have 4 years to file the claim and want to add to the answers here that, while it may not impact "if" you can still file, the medical care received at the time and since the injury may be important in determining the present day viability of how to proceed with a claim. An experienced Florida Personal Injury Attorney should be able to discuss your options and determine how best to move forward.
