Q: Should I go to court for 50 in a 25?

The officer recommended I plea not guilty and got to court and ask for leniency, in hopes I can get the points taken away. Is this the correct plan of action? I’ll most likely have to take a day off to make it to court and am unsure if it’s worth the hassle. Occurred in Allegheny County

A: If you don’t, four points will be assessed to your license. Depending on the judge your lawyer might be able to go to court on your behalf so that you would not have to take a day off of work.
