Q: Registration Trademark Internationally
I want to register my trademark worldwide and could you please help about the progress?
A: Work with a trademark attorney to assist you with registering your trademark in the United States and preparing foreign application. There is a treaty system between countries called the Madrid Protocol that allows applicants to apply to over 100 countries using one application.
Timothy John Billick agrees with this answer
A: I agree with my colleague. Most of the time the Madrid Protocol is a great option for international registration. However, the filing fees in Madrid can add up quickly and steeply, and sometimes your goals for your brand might dictate a slightly different approach. You should speak with a trademark attorney to assess the best approach for your goals.
