A: At an arraignment (usually your first court appearance) you should plead not guilty and give your attorney a chance to review your case.

Whether you eventually plead guilty to the charge is a very complicated question that depends on the plea offer and whether the government can prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt in court. There is no way your question can be answered with the little bit of information you provided. You need an attorney to review the case and advise you of your options and the consequences of choosing each option.

A felony charge involving a weapon is a serious charge, with serious consequences. You absolutely need an attorney to review your case and advise you.
