Seattle, WA asked in Medical Malpractice for Oregon

Q: How do I know if I have a medical malpractice suit?

I was diagnosed with a hiatal hernia in 2016. My pcp has never addressed it. I have been to the er numerous times thinking it was a heart attack and told it's a panic attack and sent home.

A: An Oregon attorney could advise best, but your post remains open for three weeks. You do not include a question, but it's possible you may be wondering whether this diagnosis (or misdiagnosis) gives rise to a claim for medical malpractice. In the brief description, it is not fully clear what the injuries or damages were. That is a requisite element for a cause of action based on medical malpractice. You could reach out to med mal attorneys to discuss the matter more meaningfully with additional details. Good luck

A: Addendum - I apologize - the very caption of your post included your question. I should have read it more closely. At any rate, same reply applies. Good luck
