A: Hello, I don’t think any attorney will be able to tell you over and Internet question and answer whether or not you will go to jail. What I can tell you is that a felony is a very serious offense and whether you go to jail depends upon many factors including the facts of the case and whether or not you have any prior criminal history. If you have no prior record you may be eligible for a first time offender program. If you do end up pleading guilty it will be on your record for life and there is the possibility of going to jail. The best thing you can do is hire an experienced criminal defense attorney to represent you. An experienced attorney will know what you should do ahead of time to make the case look better for yourself. I wish you the best of luck. Start calling around as many attorneys, including myself, give free consultations. Good luck
