A: Contact the Texas Rio Grande Legal Aid for that blessings but that may be hard to get, since defendants in a criminal setting are entitled to court appointed representation. Blessings!

A: You don't need a pro bono lawyer. Probably can't get one anyway because, since your friend has a right to a court-appointed attorney, a lawyer would, in a very real sense, waste his time working pro bono where his/her services are not needed.

What your friend needs to do is request the court to appoint a lawyer to represent him. What do you mean by "apr"? Do you mean he's in jail for a probation or parole revocation? Please re-submit your question and say what "apr" means.
