I have sole custody due to domestic violence and proof he is on drugs. What would I need to do ?
A: If the bio-dad has not paid child support and has not attempted contact with his son for 180 days, hire an adoption lawyer to do the adoption. If he has paid child support or has attempted contact with his son within the last 180 days, then hire a custody lawyer to get you a sole custody/supervised visitation judgment.
