A: The Articles of Organization form can be found on the Oklahoma Secretary of State's website. You should also have an Operating Agreement and will need to obtain an Employer's ID number. Most business law firms provide all of the properly completed forms for a fixed price. You can file yourself. However, the benefit of consulting with an attorney is that they will provide advice concerning the proper business entity for your particular situation and address problems that may arise in the future. You will know that you are protected because it is properly filed and the operating agreement contains appropriate terms for your situation.
