Flint, MI asked in Car Accidents for Michigan

Q: i had to have my arm amputated due to motorcycle accident. 1 person. my ad&d was denied cuz of bac.

it was denied on 08/20/2015. is that to long ago to appeal their decision and get the compensation i paid extra for out of my paycheck? it was an 80,000 policy and i received none. my bac was only a little above the legal limit. and the way they took it was sketchy and contradicts themselves.

A: You should talk with an insurance attorney, but I suspect 1) it is too late to now appeal that decision, and 2) even if you did appeal, I would imagine the policy allows them to decline coverage when they can point to a criminal act like this as the cause.
