West Liberty, KY asked in Traffic Tickets for Kentucky

Q: I had no car insurance and got a ticket, but my car is getting repoed before my court date, how do I approach this?

I really didn't have car insurance and I was truthful about that. I'm confused on whether or not I need to get it as well as fix my expired tags. I'm not sure if I need to fix all my citations since I'm losing my car anyway.

A: Yes. You need to get insurance before the court date even if losing your car to avoid a big fine in the no insurance. You can alway cancel it after court if the car is repoed.
