Q: My brother is 18 years old and he is dating a 14 year old the mother is ok with the relationship can he get into trouble

The grandmother of his girlfriend was ok with there relationships but now is freaking out and I'm just trying to look out for my little brother and don't want to see him go to jail

A: Yes. When they get mad at him, he could be charged with Unlawful Transaction with a Minor. He should be VERY careful.

A: He can be charged with crimes some but that risk and range of charges greatly increases if the relationship started before she was 14 years old or if the boyfriend is in any kind of position of trust like teacher, coach, employer etc.
