A: You can go to the clerk of the court website and look up the case and you will be able to pull it up to see what is going on. You go the the clerk of the court in the county where the person lived and where the probate was filed. That said, you should be getting timely and regular updates from the estate Personal Representative and or Attorney, if this is not the case, then you should have an attorney following-up on your behalf. Know that the estate attorney does not represent you and nor may they have your best interest as a concern or priority as they work for the estate and Personal Representative and your interests can easily diverge early and often, your attorney will make sure you are kept in the loop and updated timely and will check all they are saying, doing or not doing.
