Q: Hi, What can I do as a senior citizen who encountered a slip n fall, due to the negilegence of the property owner?

Leaking roof since 2012,&b/4 we moved in.we hv no ventilation, no windows can be opened, mold&mildew n kitchen under sink n cabinets, w/a split in kitchen ceiling at least 12" & has grown over time& u can c into the ceiling! My husband got aspirating pneumonia n was hospitalized n May 2019,2wks later the rains came nthe lkg roof inside the kitchen again.called the LL. Left msg. Put out buckets like I've been doin 4 7-8yrs. LL calls, says it's raining nothing he can do about it now. I tell him the ceiling will not hold this time &is goin 2 collapse n come down into our kitchen mold, mildew spores & all! He sends nxt door neighbor 2lk at it, inside n out on roof, agrees w/me. I said, when u talk to LL ask about putting up a tarp till it can be patched, instead if fixed correctly! Still NO CALL FROM LL, that's when I became furious w/LL, my husband is lying n bed recovering from asp. Pneumonia n I HV my granddaughter n a leaking roof & ceiling on the verge of collapse. I went outside.
