Q: When is it too late to hire a lawyer for a speeding ticket?
I received a speeding ticket in December going 22 miles over and I haven't been able to call a lawyer because the times I am off work, their business hours are closed. I have a little more than a month left before the court date in June.
I don't want it to affect my insurance
Is there a certain timeframe I should have my lawyer by? This is my first speeding ticket.

One day after the court date.
In most counties, this can be reduced to a 9 over, which, if it is your first and you are the only person on your insurance, will not affect your insurance.
