Marietta, GA asked in Car Accidents for Georgia

Q: Driving to a two way lane is there a speed limit to them? Because someone hit my car pretty hard.

I was trying to go to the two way lane and there was a 4 way light ahead that she was trying to turn left, it was about 500 ft. Where she hit me There was traffic so I was driving slowly to the Middle Lane she was in-patient because she said she was late for work. But the cop said it was still my fault.

A: Under GA law the person making the left turn should always yield to oncoming traffic. See if you can find a good traffic ticket attorney in your area to fight it in court. You can dispute this as officers are not always correct. Also make sure you file a claim with her insurance and tell your side of the story.

Hope this helps!
