A: Without more details and facts, your question cannot be answered. Did somebody own the snake as a pet, and negligently allowed it to escape or come into contact with you? Was the market inside a retail building, or open air? Encounters with wild animals in public spaces, and even on private property open to the general public where they enter of their own accord from the wild, are not likely going to afford you any basis to sue anyone. You also need to have been injured enough, with medical bills, pain and suffering, or disfigurement from scarring, to support a reasonable damage claim even if there is somebody you can identify who is responsible for your being bitten by the snake.
