Q: Why my patents or patent applications are not updated on time?
A: It is not clear what you are asking. Patents do not get updated. There is a maintenance fee that is paid three times during the life of the patent.
There is a process to correct errors in the issued patent but that usually results in a separate piece of paper called a Certificate of Correction. It is really rare for the patent office to reprint the patent with the corrections included.
Patent applications may be amended during the negotiations to obtain a patent (this process is called patent prosecution). But the amended text is not published anywhere until the patent issues.
Your best bet would be to contact the patent attorney that filed your application and ask for a status update and get informed on what steps should happen in the next year.
I hope that this helps.
