Q: I was in an accident and I was not cited there but then they called and said I have to pick up the ticket do I have to?

Do I have to go get the ticket or can I have them send it to me

A: You probably do not have to go get the ticket but depending on the seriousness of the charge and the law enforcement's attitude, they will either go to your residence and issue you the ticket or perhaps take you into custody. You have not indicate the charge, but you may want to get an attorney involved at this time to make sure that they do not take you into custody or give you the runaround should you choose not to pick up the ticket.
