Q: I live in PA and got a ticket for expired registration. Is there anything I can do besides just plea guilty and pay?
Received a ticket for expired registration. Expired 12/2020 and I forgot to renew. The police was sitting by a stop sign and running plates. This is my first offense and I have a clean driving record. Is there anything I can do or do I just need to plead guilty and pay the fine(s)?
I was reading online and does the outcome of this case apply here?

Driving with an expired registration sticker does not amount to a breach of the peace, and as such a Deputy Sheriff does not have the authority to execute a vehicle stop where they observe a vehicle with an expired registration
A: As it is a no points, I would suggest you get your registration done and plead guilty if the fine isn't too steep.
