Columbus, OH asked in Uncategorized for Ohio

Q: Is there a legal way around tint law in ohio?

I hate that In ohio an officer can look into your windows in your car and then search if he finds something he thinks is suspicious, however they have limited the tint to 50% on the front side windows and reflective tints which allow more than enough light through have also been made illegal. I don't want to break the law but I also do want unwarranted searches of my car because the officer thinks "my guitar case looks suspicious"etc, Is there a way around this without getting a medical exemption?

A: There's no way around the tint laws, but it is also unlawful for an officer to search your vehicle based upon a guitar case no matter how sketchy it looks.
