Q: what type of attorney will i need?my elderly mother has fell from her bed at a local hospital
the bed she was brought to the room in was broken I was there when they moved her. the alarm couldnt be plugged in. They knew she was a fall risk cause she had almost fallen once earlier.I left for the night and stopped by to ask the nurses to please watch her because she was so (out-of-her-head Lack of a better word)I was awakened at 445 with a call from her nurse. She had fallen from bed she had her tooth knocked out, others chipped, broken jaw, and two brain bleeds. which made her critical and shes still there among all the covid with no telling when she can be moved. Thank you for the consideration of answering this question for me,
A:
A Georgia attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for a week. I'm sorry for your mother's fall. As a starting point, you could reach out to med mal attorneys to discuss in greater detail the circumstances of the fall and the extent to which it involved elements of a duty of medical care. A detailed review of the circumstances of the fall should be able to help identify the most viable legal theory. Good luck
