Q: Good afternoon! I am a student at Santa Monica College and I am interested in becoming a criminal justice attorney.
I have a couple of questions:
1. What did you major in?
2. What do you do on a daily basis?
3. Why would you recommend this career?
4. What do you hate about your job?
5. What is your favorite thing about your job?
6. What is the most important thing about your job?
7. What is the most important skill to possess?
8. What is your salary?
9. How often do you find yourself being in the wrong?
10. Why did you become an attorney? What was the deciding factor?
If you are able to answer any of these questions, it would be incredibly helpful. Thank you and have a nice day!
A: If you think you may want to become a lawyer who practices criminal law, volunteer to work in your county's public defender office and/or district attorney's office. You'll see first hand what it is like and whether could be right for you. Good luck.
