Q: Does a ticket for failure to put on hazard lights when being pulled over on a highway come with points? It's 75 4305(a)
I was pulled over for speeding. I was trying to speed up to pass and change lanes because the car behind me was driving way to close to my tail. Officer pulled me over. Didn't end up giving me a speeding ticket when I explained it but did give me a ticket for not putting on my flashers when he pulled me over. I was going to just pay it but want to make sure I won't get any points since paying it is admitting guilt.
A: I can for certain that if you have a Pennsylvania license, you will not receive any points for that section. That may vary if you have an out of state license, but I have never seen that section result in points even for an out of state license. Best wishes.
