Q: Hubby on prob for DUI 1st as of 3/3/21. KY car accident on 02/19/21. Will KY charge for that wreck violate TN probation?

A: Husband will probably not be charged with VOP as the Court and/or Probation Officer will usually not find out about another State's Misdemeanor charges. It is possible however, and if it happens of course his lawyer can argue it happened prior to the Probation Sentence running. Inform his lawyer and stay out of trouble. KY may inform DOS, but that does not mean the Court will know.
