A: If your husband has been charged with committing crimes he needs to contact an experienced criminal defense attorney in the jurisdiction where the charges were filed. An experienced defense attorney can help evaluate the case and gather the necessary evidence to proceed to trial if your husband is not guilty. Unless the attorney can convince the prosecutor to withdraw the charges (which is highly unlikely, although it does occasionally occur), it will ultimately be in the hands of the judge or jury at trial. Good luck!

A: In addition to my colleagues response, he should NOT speak with law enforcement without counsel.
