A: A North Carolina attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for four weeks. It could depend on the terms of coverage and your employer's role in your coverage. But as a general matter nationwide, employers do usually not get involved in insurance carrier's operations, other than plan administration matters. If by bad decision you mean denial of a claim (that's only a guess), that occurs routinely in the industry. If by bad decision you mean a medical call regarding your care, those are generally made by physicians and other medical providers, not claims examiners. These are only generalities. You could reach out to a North Carolina attorney to discuss in further detail for the most meaningful guidance with regard to your particular situation under applicable state insurance regulations. Good luck
