Ransom, KY asked in Domestic Violence for Kentucky

Q: Can ex husband be charged for saying he’s going to take out my whole family?

Messages like this has been going on for years, but the last strain of messages came with a video, it was of s my ex feeding a dog then moves the camera away and you hear a gunshot and just get a glimpse of the dog again , but he’s clearly sending the message that he’s going to kill us like he did the dog … I’ve filed an epo , but i don’t know what else to do.. I don’t want to file any charges unless I know for sure that something will be done because I’m scared to death of him. He’s stalked me and terrorized me for such a long time that I can’t walk outside without fearing for my life. And I know how angry it will make him if I bring about charges on him and that just scares me even more . I want to know it’ll be worth it to try to fight back.
