A: Copyright is a type of intellectual property that gives its owner the exclusive right to copy and distribute an original creative work in a literary, artistic, educational, or musical form. Minors may claim copyright, and the Copyright Office issues registrations to minors.

If, however, you propose that the company's name be used to identify the source of goods or service, that is a trademark, not a copyright.

Your disability under state law is that a minor cannot enter into a legal contract, and that would be necessary in forming and operating a business. Wait until you are 18, then go for it.
