Peachtree Corners, GA asked in Probate for New Jersey

Q: Do we have enough to file a grievance for an executor of our aunt's will with the state of NJ?

Aunt passed 9/28/21. Will was probated in Dec. My brother & I are beneficiaries of IRA's & our children are in the will, each to receive a set amount of cash. We have a copy of the will, but not the death certificate. Our children have yet to receive notification that the executor has opened probate.

He has responded to some of our calls and emails, but lately has ignored us. From what we understand, IRA's are not part of probate. We know of one IRA that exists and have already contacted them, but he has yet to send them the death certificate.

We know the attorney's name, etc., but we do not know anything about him. Have we allowed enough time to pass and if so, what can we do? Thank you.

A: The brief details appear sufficient to proceed with an application to have an administrator cta (with will attached) appointed.
