Q: If a traffic ticket has a charge that is false, can the ticket be dismissed?
A ticket was issued for a failure to stop at a 4-way stop sign. If you stop at the sign you cannot see clearly, so I stopped before the intersection, but not directly at the stop sign. Also the ticket says that there was a flashing red light, but there is not.
A: The particular charge may be dismissed but not necessarily the entire ticket. I suggest that you contact a traffic ticket attorney in your area and ask how the local jurisdiction approach these type cases----hire4 an attorney to represent you if necessary. Good luck.
