Burkesville, KY asked in Business Law and Car Accidents for Kentucky

Q: Is a hotel allowed to keep all my money even though I didnt get to even walk in the room?

I took my son to get a hotel room. He pays and then I then drive him around to his room. Pulling up my foot slipped on the breaks and I hit a column. My car insurance will cover the column. I leave. The hotel ends up making my son leave before he even gets in his room. They then kept all the money that he used to pay for the room. Is that legal?
