Q: Hello my boyfriend is in jail. He wants to get divorced. (Not me) do you handle that? If so how much?

A: Yes we can handle that. He can still get divorced while he is incarcerated. If he is going to be incarcerated it can lead to the divorce taking a little longer just due to logistics and coordinating hearings, but the divorce can move forward. If they are wanting to do an uncontested divorce the process should be close to the same as if he was not in jail as most judges allow us to mail in the final orders once the case is filed so he may not even need to attend a final hearing.
