Memphis, TN asked in Personal Injury for Tennessee

Q: medical restrictions because of a work related injury. I am being asked to work for a Non Profit .

I was given an MRI several weeks ago. I was denied Leave because the physician did not answer several questions regarding how many visits and duration. I have not had previous legal counsel. I have concerns about who, where hours, etc. What should I do before answering any questions. What legal protection do I have? I would be working for a non-profit organization but would like to have more assurance that I am not placed where I am dissatisfied and be at an even more risk loosing my job.

A: A Tennessee attorney could advise best, but your questions remain open for a week. You may be losing valuable time awaiting a response from a personal injury attorney, the category chosen for your post. This is outside the experience of most personal injury attorneys - it is more a workers' comp/employment law matter. You could repost under Workers' Comp/Employment Law, or you could reach out to attorneys who practice in those areas. Good luck
