Q: I’ve found out that my address was used on a mortgage application for another property that ended up in foreclosure.
The foreclosure was closed as satisfied thankfully. Do I have any recourse against the individual and or the mortgage company for the use of my address?

A: There may be a Slander Of Title Action. Contact a competent FL attorney that knows Title law and goes to Court. Act now as the SOL is running.
A: They used your mailing address, not your property description, and you were not named as a defendant in the foreclosure lawsuit, correct? If so, it doesn't appear that you were damaged and if you weren't, no, you don't have recourse.
