Q: How do politicians (or anyone) get away with denying saying something that was recorded, in many cases audio and visual?

A: Great question! Politicians are judged by the court of public opinion; and quite frankly, many people are not interested in the truth. And sometimes even audio and visuals can be rendered to make it seem someone is saying or doing something they are not.
