Q: I have a dui if I get my license back before going to court for a driving on suspended license will they still resuspend

My license? The court date is the day after I'm scheduled to go get my license back.

A: Assuming you can get your license back in Kentucky before going to court this question concerns strategy and you should discuss with a lawyer. If you get your license back you will spend money on a reinstatement fee. That money could be wasted if your license is suspended again. Driving on a DUI suspended license carries a penalty of license suspension. Your license may or may not be suspended depending on what you plead guilty to. Maybe you should talk to a lawyer. Maybe your lawyer can amend charge or maybe not. Having a license actually looks good in my personal lawyer opinion for purposes of negotiating an amendment if one is possible but this is not legal advice and you should consult with a lawyer.
