Indianapolis, IN asked in Divorce for Kentucky

Q: Can father only put himself on medical documentation?

My daughter's dad refuses to communicate at all. We have 50/50 custody as of right now. He has jumped her from doctor to doctor against my wishes. It's time for well check ups and he stated that he did one October of last year however the insurance company says he dad not. His new wife says they did one in April of this year but refuses to give me the doctors name or address. I check the insurance and she was seen at a family care provider in April. I called them and they won't give me any information because he refuses to put me on her information.

A: No. You should make a motion to hold him in creepy for failing to do so.

A: No. Both parents should have the availability to obtain medical information regarding the minor child. If there is an order establishing your joint custody relationship, you may be able to file a contempt motion based on the refusal you explain. However, if you have an informal agreement, file a petition with the Court to get your rights established.
