Pearland, TX asked in Family Law and Child Custody for New York

Q: I want the my 2 boys 9&10 to fly on a direct flight from nyc to houston Texas where I reside .

I want the my 2 boys 9&10 to fly on a direct flight from nyc to Houston Texas where I reside . The mother said if the boys wanted to she would be on board . I offered to pay all flight cost and her gas tolls or Am track tickets from Albany to nyc . She now has changed her feelings even though they both want to fly alone . Right now I have to fly up to Ny to get them and fly them to Texas , then fly them back , and fly alone back to Texas . If they were to fly Unaccompanied on a direct flight it would allow to afford to fly them more often and spend more time with them .can you help with this ?

she has mentioned in the past if the boys would do it , she was on board but now because they want to she's trying to say every reason not to do it.

A: Is there anything addressing this issue in your custody order? You may need to go to court to modify the order if so. Talk to a NY lawyer.
