Q: My girlfriend left and possibly left the state with our 9month daughter. We've never established custody. What can I do?

A: You should immediately file a Petition to Establish Legal Decision-making, Parenting Time, and Child Support with the Court.

At the same time, you should file a Motion for Temporary Orders asking the child be returned to the state. You may want to consult with an attorney to determine whether this motion should be filed on an emergency basis:
