A: The cyst by itself has no value. At the end of your healing, the Treating Physician SHOULD write about your WHOLE PERSON IMPAIRMENT, the total impairment you have from all the body parts injured in the fall at work. Maybe the reporting doctor will write that a cyst is a great permanent impairment, maybe not. It depends on what that elbow can no longer do. If you cannot wipe yourself on the toilet because of that elbow, that's a big impairment. If you can do everything you used to do, that's no impairment. SO, YOU CAN SEE YOU HAVE TO THOROUGHLY PREPARE WITH A PROFESSIONAL BEFORE you have the final Maximum Medical Improvement exam so you answer the examining doctor's questions honestly but with a clear explanation of how the permanent situation with body parts hurt in that fall limit your life every day.
